Consumerism today realizes that it does not only include the middle class, because the consumer group has already expanded to almost someone: people change iPhones every year. This is a type of consumerism because they don't really need new iPhone features. They may I don't know what is the difference between the new iPhone and the old iPhone. They may just make a phone call. The act of consuming something that is not really needed is a kind of consumerism. But in fact, I do n' t object to people consuming goods that are not useful to us. After all, desire is the driving force for us to survive. I am opposed to brainwashing by businessmen in order to sell their own goods. We are shaped by advertising.
